Coal Harbour

My friend Julie and I had just landed in Vancouver from the east coast -- she from Rochester, I from New York -- and our first stop was a walk along Coal Harbour. This shot reminds me of Santa Barbara, where the mountains and ocean and a booming waterfront all collide in a drop-dead gorgeous setting.
