I had just arrived in Toulouse and was getting my bearings when I spotted this amazing facade. Every building in Toulouse was interesting to look at -- like a lot of other old European cities. During WWII, Toulouse was spared the fate of many cities -- it had no industry worth destroying, so it was largely ignored. Today it is the fastest growing city in Europe and the capital of the aerospace industry, thanks to Airbus.
