Ellwanger Gardens

Something about the lines and curves of this garden staircase appealed to me. There was a look of graceful decay and abandonment that intrigued me. Another neat thing about this photo is that you can see the bones of one of the famous Ellwanger greenhouses in the background. On this property in downtown Rochester, George Ellwanger built America's largest greenhouse operation.
