Miami Beach

When I took this shot, I had just flown in from New York and was sitting on the balcony of my friend Drew's 15th-floor apartment on Collins Avenue enjoying a warm Miami day. It was so refreshing to have a burst of warmth after the crisp days of autumn at home.

This was the view off the west end of his balcony, overlooking the mansions of Biscayne Bay and mainland Miami in the distance. To the east, out of view in this photo, was the beach and the bluish expanse of the Atlantic.
