Public Garden

I had just flown into Boston from New York, and was walking toward my hotel in the Back Bay when I stopped to check out this statue in the Public Garden. Although I lived in Boston for years, I never really spent any time in the Public Garden and missed out. As I was walking through the park I realized I didn't have many photos from Boston so I crouched down and started shooting. Unfortunately I was shooting into the sun in this photo, so it's a little washed out. But I do enjoy the color in the pedestal and the ripples in the water.
