I was walking through the hotel lobby, back to my room so I could head to the airport, when I was stopped by Lynn, a woman I knew who was also staying at the hotel. They were photographing these birds and encouraged me to jump in a shot with them. I told them, "No, really, it's OK." Of course they talked me into it, and I'm glad I did, because just as the bird-handler was telling me to relax, Lynn snapped this shot of me.

The birds had just been fed and the one on my left was dropping crumbs on my arm and pecking at them. The birds were so delicate I was worried they'd fall off my arms.
